i hate days like these. time passes so slowly that it actually crawls by. its just one of those days when everyone is not in the mood to do anything and we're just waiting for the clock to hit 5.30 and leave.

might be driving up to kl this evening after work. have some appointments tomorrow morning. *yawn*
so damn sleepy... so damn bored~ wanna get out of this life or do something different to change it.

There's a crazy buzz going around the entire factory today...










































Enough of the suspense! Its time to let the cat out of the bag and let you know what all this hoohaa is about.

For the 1st time...











After 3 years of working-life here at SMWP...



























You can imagine the look on people's faces when he walked through the door, in a scenic slow-motion move and with the wind blowing in his hair (well, what's left of his hair anyway). Some people looked worried (as though they have just seen the last sign of Armageddon), some were rejoicing (as they see their Savior walked through the door) but many were writing a whole bunch of numbers in their personal piece of papers (probably going to buy 4D at the Big Horse).


After a brief time of awe and amazement and this sight, I managed to pull myself together and have a quick interview with Danny about his experience in the canteen.

Aaron: How does it feel like having to eat canteen food for the 1^st time in 3 years?
Danny: Walao… full of mixed feelings!
I need some encouragement at 1^st but what the hack, just food and I’m sure they won’t harm me 1!
So I give up my “virgin SMWP canteen meal” for the very first time today.

Aaron: How did you find the food?
Danny: Errr… OK but BLOODY expensive la man!

Aaron: Is there anything you would like to say to those who have yet to try our food here in SMWP?
Danny: Don’t try! Go far far makan!!!

Now, many people question what MARKETING is all about. Some speculate while others are just plain guessing. Today, with the help of my colleague, Danny Khoo... Perhaps we can give you a little lesson on the subject... MARKETING!

Argh.. Caught a little running nose this morning :( Probably a combination of taking an extremely cold bath in the morning & not having a proper diet throughout the Chinese New Year.

Remedy: Biodisc a bottle of juice (mango in my case) to maximize the vitamin C intake & drink lots of BD water.

Just a little side of SMWP you will not see everyday.

Everyone quickly finish up their work; word has it we will be heading to Jonker for a nice lunch. We seldom get a chance like this as every other day work ends anytime between 5.30pm to 8pm. Since its a Saturday & we get off work at 1pm, I looked forward for this time to socialize with my colleagues & to see what they are like outside the 4 walls of SMWP.

So as the time draws near, I quickly clear up the rest of my work & determine what I needed to finish at home before packing up my things. The anticipation rises with every ticking of the clock & when the clock strikes 1, Danny cries out "Hold on ah.. I need to go toilet 1st".

After waiting for nearly 0.5 hour or 30 minutes or 1800 seconds! Danny came strolling out of the toilet with a hand over his belly & the other covering his @$$ saying "Wah.. Shiok! Lets go.."

We got to Jonker & that place is packed with folks from all walks of life.. hmm.. This people no life one ah? There isn't much to see in Jonker during the day but I guess I couldn't complain seeing how I'm there as well. Teh, Wong, Danny, Poh Lin & I had our lunch & a nice bowl of Gula Melaka topped with some ice & other ingredients. We had so much sugar I'm surprised we didn't jump around sugar high. Hmm.. yum yum..

Our last stop was to Hang Tuah's Digital Mall to see Sandra in action. Apparently Digi was having a fair there & she was crowned "Maid of the Month", her job was to make sure all guests are well stuffed with popcorn before they leave. Digital Mall is pretty dead & I honestly can't see it lift off the ground. However we did still get ourselves some cheap thrills at Digi booth before going our separate ways.

Overall the day was pretty good & I look forward for more outings & such.

Haha.. I know many will object & many disagree but I did it anyway. I got myself the 100 years anniversary, limited edition Dunhill pack. I mean look at it, its damn cool la. It comes in 3 colour boxes, each with its individual unique taste and aroma. Hmmm...


Many in the office are against it already but every time I look up & see it, it makes my day & puts a smile on my face.

Got into the office late today.. Thanks to the beautiful rain which makes it so desirable to sleep. Haha.. truth is I'm just lazy to get up la. Was about 15 minutes late but seems like I wasn't the only one so no one cares *winks*

Anyway seems there's not much to do in the morning especially when I'm hired specifically to open European market. Most of my potential customers don't wake till about 4pm local time. So I usually get busy in the evening onwards (hmm.. I like the sound of that, "get busy".. haha!)

Had a cup of instant noodles for me breakfast. Nothing nice in the canteen today. Been awhile since I chow down some instant noodles. Not bad la the taste or maybe I'm just hungry.

i'm very a little free today so i've decided to show you around my work place...
but i'll just start with my work desk 1st... cos it's about lunch time now. hehe...

gosh.... i'm so bored now with no project on hand yet. just making calls for my own business meetings and updating my blog. one other thing that i find difficult to adjust to is the strict lunch hours. i've got to finsh my meal within an hour in fact less than that if you take driving and all into consideration. well, most of the time i'll eat around here with my work colleagues or else i'd eat somewhere in bukit beruang with gerald and sandra or whoever is in that area around my lunchtime. however, chowing down within the specific time period kinda sucks la...
